Yessica J. Pinales is an Corporate Finance Associate in the Banking and Financial Services group at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A., where she represents lenders and borrowers in connection with commercial financing transactions, including commercial real estate acquisition and refinancing, and non-real estate financing.
Prior to joining Wilentz, Yessica served as a judicial law clerk in the New Jersey Superior Court, where she assisted the Middlesex County Courthouse recall judges in trials and pre-trials and other civil proceedings. She earned her law degree at St. John's University School of Law. From 2017-2018, Yessica served as President of the National Latino/a Law Student Association, a collective organization of law school chapters from all regions of the United States dedicated to empowering Latino and Latina law students. Yessica earned her undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Albany, where she was the recipient of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.
Actively engaged in the legal community, Yessica is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the Middlesex County Bar Association. In addition, she volunteers for the New Jersey Chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). Though Yessica was raised in New York, she takes pride in the cultural values of her native homeland, the Dominican Republic. She currently resides in Newark, New Jersey, with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, running long distances, and she loves to dance.
