The Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey (“HBA-NJ”) will hold its General Membership and Nominations Meeting on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Archer, 101 Carnegie Center, Suite 300, Princeton, New Jersey 08540.  Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting will start promptly at 6:30 p.m.   Registration is free and open to all current and active members.

In addition to discussing items of interest to the HBA-NJ, we will be accepting nominations for the following positions for the 2018-2019 Term: 

• President-Elect
• Northern Regional Vice President
• Southern Regional Vice President
• Membership Secretary
• Recording Secretary
• Region 1 Trustee (Hudson County)
• Region 2 Trustee (Essex County)
• Region 3 Trustee (Bergen County)
• Region 12 Trustee (Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties)
• Region 13 Trustee (Atlantic and Cape May Counties)
• Trustee-At Large

In order to participate in the nomination process, you must be a paid member in good standing before the meeting is called to Order. Nominations may be accepted only by persons in attendance at the meeting, unless a waiver from the President is obtained at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting, in which case you must be available by phone to accept the nomination.  In order to vote in the election, you must be a paid Full Attorney Member in good standing as of September 30, 2018.  If you are not a paid member and would like to be eligible to vote in the upcoming election, please visit www.njhba.org.
