As part of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey's (HBA-NJ) Quarterly Immigration Series, the HBA-NJ is partnering with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) to provide an overview of the legal needs of unaccompanied minors navigating the U.S. immigration system and how you can make a meaningful impact by volunteering with KIND as probono counsel. During this webinar, KIND will provide a snapshot of the reasons children migrate, a brief overview of immigration proceedings, and legal defenses available. Attendees will also gain an understanding of how KIND supports pro bono attorneys through one-on-one mentoring by experts in the field, webinars and extensive online resources.
