The Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey (“HBA-NJ”) will hold its General Membership and Nominations Meeting on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at 6:00 pm.  Registration is free and open to all active members.

In addition to discussing items of interest to the HBA-NJ, we will be accepting nominations for the following positions for the 2020-2021 Term: 

  • President-Elect
  • Northern Regional Vice President
  • Southern Regional Vice President
  • Membership Secretary
  • Recording Secretary
  • Region 8 (Somerset & Hunterdon Counties)
  • Region 9 (Middlesex County)
  • Region 10 Trustee (Monmouth and Ocean Counties)
  • Trustee-At-Large (Prior HBA-NJ Board Member, who has not been on the Board for 5+ years)

In order to participate in the nomination process, you must be a paid member in good standing before the meeting is called to order.  Nominations may be accepted only by persons in attendance at the meeting, unless a waiver from the President is obtained at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting, in which case you must be available by phone to accept the nomination.  In order to vote in the election, you must be a paid Full Attorney Member in good standing as of September 30, 2020.  If you are not a paid member and would like to be eligible to vote in the upcoming election, please complete the membership form by clicking here.
