   Please join us on February 26, 2014 for the "Celebration of the African Diaspora in the Latino Community" in honor of Black History Month.  This event will feature Dr. Marta Moreno Vega, Founder and President of the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute, and the foremost authority of Afro-Latino history in the United States.  We invite you to join us in an educational and cultural discussion regarding the influence of the historic movement of people from Africa to Latin America.  Thanks to the sponsorship of the Garden State Bar Association ("GSBA"), the National Organization of Black Women in Law Enforcement ("NOBWLE"), the NJ Muslim Lawyers Association ("NJMLA"), and the Caribbean Bar Association of NJ ("CBA") .  The Event will take place at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey with a special performance by the Segunda Quimbamba.  If your organization is interested in sponsoring this event, please contact Ada Nunez, Esq. at (973) 635-3366 or adalgiza.nunez@gmail.com or Emilia Perez at emiliaperez8@gmail.com.  Cost of attendance is $60.00 - registration will end on February 21, 2014 so please register early.
